PAul Greengrass
Paul Greengrass CBE is an English film director, producer, screenwriter, and former journalist. Known for his documentary-style filmmaking and intense realism, he gained international acclaim with Bloody Sunday (2002), which won the Golden Bear. He directed three films in the Bourne series, including The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), and the critically acclaimed United 93 (2006), which earned him a BAFTA Award for Best Director and an Oscar nomination. His other works include Captain Phillips (2013), News of the World (2020), and upcoming projects like Fairy Tale. Greengrass co-founded Directors UK and was awarded a CBE in 2022 for services to the arts.
